Organization Minimum Requirements (Items listed in 1 through 4 must be met):
- Registered with the Ilinois Secretary of State and have an active Business Enterprise Program (BEP) certification through the State of Illinois Commission on Equity and Inclusion
- Business is currently in "Good Standing" with the Illinois Secretary of State
- Be active in Illinois BEP Registered Vendor Directory: https://ceibep.diversitysoftware.com/?TN=ceibep.
- Be registered with the Illinois Commission on Equity and Inclusion under NIGP Commodity Codes: 91865 - HR, Relations Consulting, -OR- 95874 - HR Management Services
Individual Representing the BEP-certified Organization Minimum Requirements:
- Work Arrangements (required):
- The assigned Contractor must be legally authorized to work in the United States. (RFP required)
- The assigned Contractor must be available to take on work during the scope of the contract, which is January 15, 2024, through February 1, 2025. (RFP required)
- The assigned Contractor must be available approximately 6 to 10 hours a week. (EXMI required)
- The assigned Contractor must be available for virtual meetings during the operating hours of the Illinois-based client (Monday through Friday, 8:30am CT - 5pm CT). (EXMI required)
- The location of work is to be "performed and managed remotely." Yet, there are "possible instances where a need arises to perform portions of the work in person." (RFP required)
- All services provided by the assigned Contractor must be "performed within the United States" per RFP Statement of Work. (RFP required)
- Assigned Contractor Experience, Education, & Abilities:
- Experience:
- The assigned Contractor must have at least six years of experience in compensation analysis. (RFP required)
- The assigned Contractor must have completed at least three salary or employee benefit related consulting projects within the past five years. (RFP required) Please note the RFP requirements say "consulting projects" not "compensation projects for an employer."
- Education:
- The assigned Contractor must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university -OR- an associate's degree plus 4 years of paid, full-time work experience (EXMI required for internal pay equity purposes)
- EXMI Preferred: Master's degree from an accredited college or university
- Abilities:
- The assigned Contractor must have the ability to work autonomously. All EXMI independent Contractors are required to manage their own schedule, technology, approach to work completion, finances, and time. While an EXMI project leader may provide a scope, deadlines, and the strategic vision, the Contractor decides on how to complete work based on their expertise and within the given timeline. EXMI will not manage how the time of the Contractor is spent and/or how work is completed. (EXMI required)
- The assigned Contractor must have the ability to connect, communicate, and contribute entirely through virtual channels; has reliable access to a computer, phone, and the internet; and can be a collaborative member of a virtual team. (EXMI required)
