Project Overview

Drew Charter School partnered with EXMI to conduct a market analysis and workforce structure study to ensure they remain competitive in attracting and retaining high-quality staff. The initial project focused on executive and leadership roles and has since expanded into a larger, ongoing compensation project for all non-leadership positions for the 2024-2025 school year.

Approach

The initial phase of the project focused on leadership roles and included:

  • Conducting a market analysis to evaluate the competitiveness of leadership pay.
  • Studying the leadership team structure to ensure effective operations.
  • Updating and reviewing job descriptions.
  • Conducting interviews with staff.
  • Renaming positions for clarity and alignment.
  • Designing a new organizational chart for the leadership team.
  • Applying Job Evaluation NHA design principles.

Outcomes

  • Completed a comprehensive market analysis and structural review for all leadership positions.
  • Delivered a new, optimized organizational chart for the leadership team.
  • Provided updated job descriptions and renamed positions to reflect their roles accurately.
  • The success of the initial study led to a current, ongoing engagement to conduct a comprehensive compensation study for all non-leadership roles.
