Ohio PK-12 Administrator Benchmark Pay Survey
We invite Ohio PK-12 education organizations to participate in a benchmark pay survey for administrative positions. Participation in the survey is at no cost to you. Participants will receive a summary report that can be used to benchmark their pay against Ohio schools and districts with similar demographics to your organization.

- Who can participate? The Administrator Benchmark Pay Survey is open to all PK-12 education organizations in the state of Ohio
- Cost to Participate: Free
- If I participate, what do I receive? The person who completes the survey will be sent a report with aggregated salary data that can be used to evaluate the competitiveness of your district’s salaries. Data will be reported by demographics such as organization size, organization type, and region. See quick reference guide below.
- Positions included: Organizational leadership positions (superintendent, treasurer, executive cabinet), school leadership positions, and department leadership positions.
- Survey Window: Now closed
Our goal is to share the collected data with participants by January 2023. If you have questions, please contact Kate Heynoski (kateh@exmi.org).
We conduct three benchmark pay surveys annually. Participants receive a free copy of the final report of each survey they complete.
